How to connect Stripe to your booking system.

  1. In your Setmore web app, go to Settings > Payments > Stripe.
  2. Sign in with your Stripe details to allow Setmore to connect. To complete the integration, click the ‘Activate’ button.
  3. To accept payments on your Booking Page, head to Settings > Payments > Booking Page and follow the prompts.

  • Fees from Stripe vary by country. US-based users are charged 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction. Setmore does not charge any additional fees.

  • This varies by country. For US-based users, Stripe makes funds available within two business days of the payment date.

  • No. Setmore acts as a pass-through for data that’s sent to and from Stripe. Your customers’ credit and debit card details are not stored in our servers.

  • Once you have enabled the Stripe integration in your Setmore web app, go to Settings > Payments > Booking Page. Switch on Booking Page payments and confirm whether payments are mandatory or optional.

  • Setmore offers a free booking plugin that lets customers confirm appointments using your site. Connecting your booking plugin with Stripe also allows you to accept payments online.

  • Yes. Create a class or group event and customers can reserve their spots online. If you have a Free account, you can get paid with Square. With a Premium or Pro account, you can take payments via Square, Stripe or PayPal.

  • Yes, you can add a video meeting link to any service. If you have a Free account, you meet with Teleport and get paid with Square. Premium and Pro users can meet with Teleport, Zoom or Google Meet and get paid with Square, Stripe or PayPal.

  • Yes, if you’re based in the EU, SCA will affect Stripe payments. When a customer pays online using your Booking Page, they may be asked for additional verification. This could involve answering a test question or confirming a unique password.
